Summer is here and summer workouts are in full swing. What athletes, and professionals or all kinds, can accomplish in the summer can be transformational. It is an opportunity to refresh, refocus, and reapply ourselves to what we know is right. We all know what we need to do, what we have to do. This summer make doing it the priority.

3 Ways To Jump Start Your Summer

  1. Wake Up A Little Earlier

    This doesn’t mean be extreme or punish yourself with an early alarm clock. Simply put your feet on the floor maybe 15 minutes earlier than normal. Starting your day with a slower pace and having a morning in your control sets the tone for your day, week, and month.

  2. Make A Smoothie

    Once a day, replace a meal with a smoothie. You can fill smoothies with fruits, vegetables, protein and supplements. Smoothies are quick to make (and clean up), refreshing in the hot summer months, and can be jam packed with all the nourishment we know we need.

  3. Get Outside

    The impact Vitamin D has on our body and mind is amazing. We all have busy lives that constantly push us to do the next thing. This hamster-wheel limits our availability to get outside, under the sun, and breathe deeply. This summer get out in the sun and be intentionally grateful for your time. Your body and mind will thank you!
